Steeped in Latin American folklore as a fearsome creature that preys on livestock, the Chupacabra brings danger to both Werewolves and Villagers in Ultimate Werewolf: Extreme. Steeped in Latin American folklore as a fearsome creature that preys on livestock, the Chupacabra brings danger to both Werewolves and Villagers in Ultimate Werewolf: Extreme. This role does have the ability to eliminate players at night, however, it can only eliminate Werewolves first. The Villagers and other roles are safe until the wolves are eliminated.

Chupacabra's Guide
As the Chupacabra, you have a powerful ability but you must be careful. You can eliminate Werewolves at night, but they can target you too. The Chupacabra also has no ability to detect who is a Werewolf, so you will have to rely on some strategy to be successful. So here are some tips to help you play as the Chupacabra:
Monster in Plain Sight:
Your main targets are the Werewolves. You cannot eliminate villagers until all wolves are gone. During the day, act as a villager trying to expose the Werewolves, and during the night target those who you suspect.
Remain Calm:
While active in discussions, don’t draw suspicion. If you argue with someone during the day, and then successfully eliminate them during the night, villagers will see you as a threat.
Moderator Tips
The Chupacabra can add a whole new dynamic to the gameplay. As a moderator, note the role’s ability and ensure the Chupacabra does not eliminate villagers until the wolves are gone. Here are some moderator tips to keep in mind:
Blind Targets:
Do not tell the Chupacabra if their target is a Werewolf. Simply protect the villagers until all Werewolves are eliminated. Let the Chupacabra determine what happened at night, who knows maybe the Bodyguard saved a Werewolf.Ā
DON'T FORGET THE LONE WOLF:
Remember that even though the Lone Wolf operates on its own, it’s still classified as a Werewolf.

Final Thoughts
Adding the Chupacabra into Ultimate Werewolf gives the game a twist by making Werewolves fear the night too. This roleās ability is easy to use and only a little more complicated than a plain Werewolf. However, like all Independent roles, it can be hard to win the game. We recommend this role to veteran players but it does have a low entry level for all to enjoy.
