Ultimate Werewolf
Insomniac
Team: Villager
Overview
Insomnia is a common sleep disorder, that prevents you from falling alseep, and can cause you to stay up all hours of the night! In Ultimate Werewolf, the Insomniac is that neighbor who seems to be always awake. The Insomniac does close there eyes and “sleep” like the rest of the players, but she always “wakes” up last to activate her ability. The player in this role can see if either of their two neighboring players did something during the night. They don’t know what the action was, just that something happened. This ability helps the Villager team to determine who is a friend or foe, at least for those two neighbors.
The Insomniac is included in the Ultimate Werewolf: Extreme edition.

Insomniac's Guide
The Insomniac’s ability isn’t a direct action. Instead, it allows the player to gather information. The Insomniac sees if their two neighbors took any action during the night. As simple as it sounds there some strategies to maximize its potential! Here are some tips to help:
Neighbors come first:
As a Villager, finding the Werewolves is the goal. But first focus on learning who your neighbors really are. Ask questions that force them to reference the previous night. If their answers don’t match their nightly activity, they could be lying. Carefully listen to what they say to see if it matches your investigations.

The Insomniac’s ability is simple, but you do have to manage this role nightly. A simple head nod or shake from you can let the player know if their neighbor was active during the night. Still, here are some things to keep in mind:
Wake Order:
The Insomniac should be the last person to wake during the night to make sure all nightly roles have had a chance to be active.
Eliminated Neighbors:
Even when one of the Insomniac’s neighbors is eliminated, that player is still considered a neighbor.
Maintain the seating order:
When players begin to get eliminated, some choose to leave the circle, and players inevitably start to shift around. Retaining the exact seat order helps the Insomniac know who their neighbors are.
